About this opportunity
As a key stakeholder in reaching success for Solution Area Business & Operations Support Systems (SA BOS) strategy, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a good ability to lead change, encourage, innovate, strive for efficiency, automation, and digitalization, collaborate, be results-oriented, a problem-solver in a highly fast-paced, geographically diverse matrix organization working with the newest technologies of Telecom.
This position will have dotted reporting to KAM's in Morocco as their primary sales lead within the BOS portfolio & will work closely with sales support, delivery heads and technical expertise to identify, scope, and close upsell opportunities.
What you will do
- Develop a growth strategy focused on BOS portfolio financial gain and customer satisfaction by streamlining OSS and BSS systems.
- E2E dedicated responsibility for the complete BOS portfolio, taking the lead role in the strategy and execution of positioning and selling it (products and services).
- Strengthen customer relationships with CIOs and C-level execs by addressing their needs and difficulties with our solutions and services.
- Drive enhanced customer roadmap and charge planning, including increasing upsell effort.
- Complete customer lifecycle sales responsibility, including continuous upselling and cross-selling.
- Encourage and inspire team members across various groups to collaborate and strive towards attaining successful sales results.
- The BOS Client Executive is only dedicated to BOS business and will have specific incentives and targets. Standard Incentive Plan eligibility to BOS P&L and multi-year to ensure dedication for the entire deal lifecycle.
- The main objective of this position is to attain concrete sales results for BOS and not just to establish client connections.
- Identify customer business needs through consultative engagements and influence the customer to practical de-risked approach to realize the solution delivery
- Proactive & data-driven sales: Ability to acquire insights from analyzing operator architecture and industry data, identify business opportunities to engage with customers pre-RFP stage.
- Consistent success in sales and business development, specifically in the Cloud and Monetization industry.
You will bring
- Minimum 10 years of experience of IT sales and delivery models
- Confirmed and established relationships with Executives (VP, C Level) in Telcos in Morocco
- University degree or equivalent experience in Engineering / ICT
- Annual sales turn-over of 10M USD or more
- Extensive track record of optimally achieving results in a complex multi-functional organization
- Ambitious & Commercial Thinking, Deciding & Initiating Action, Persuading & Influencing, Relating & Networking
- Strong executive presence. Resilient, lead, growth and results-focused.
- As a leader, adapting quickly to changing business and customer needs is critical while establishing oneself as a reliable and collaborative decision-maker.
- Enable people - Experience running complex sales engagements and managing cross-functional teams.
What this role is NOT about
- This role does not overlap the existing KAM role but supports growing the BOS business portion within the respective account P&L.
- While this role will involve sales responsibilities throughout the customer lifecycle, including upselling during delivery, it is not primarily passionate about delivery. However, it is pivotal to collaborate strongly with the delivery teams to develop the business across the entire lifecycle and unlock upselling opportunities.
Skills Required
- Minimum 10 years of IT sales and delivery experience
- Proven relationships with VP/C-level executives in telcos in Morocco
- University degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or ICT
- Annual sales turnover achievement of $10M USD or more
- Consistent success in sales and business development in Cloud and Monetization
- Experience running complex sales engagements and managing cross-functional teams
- Strong executive presence, persuasive influencing and networking skills
- Commercial thinking, decision-making, and results-driven leadership
- Ability to analyze operator architecture and industry data for proactive, pre-RFP engagement
- Track record of achieving results in complex multi-functional organizations
