client, Davara Enterprises Ltd., based in Kelowna, BC, is a well-established
company with operations spanning real estate investment, property management,
and private business holdings across a variety of industries. Known for their
professionalism, operational excellence, and supportive culture, Davara
provides centralized financial, administrative, and management support across
their portfolio throughout the Okanagan region.
They
are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their
team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will play an integral part in
supporting the day-to-day accounting and administrative functions across
multiple entities. This opportunity is well suited for a highly organized and

Responsibilities
will include:
- Recording
daily financial transactions using Sage and/or QuickBooks accounting software;
- Reconciling
bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash;
- Processing
accounts payable and receivable, including issuing invoices and receipts;
- Preparing
and filing sales tax, GST, and payroll remittances;
- Assisting
with monthly financial reporting and account reconciliations;
- Supporting
year-end preparation and working alongside external accountants as required;
- Maintaining
accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company policies and
accounting procedures;
- Managing
payroll administration and related documentation;
- Providing
administrative support and assisting with special projects and additional
duties as needed;
- Contributing
to process improvements and supporting a paperless and technology-driven office
environment.
Requirements
- Highly

Qualifications:
- Diploma
or certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field;
- Minimum
of 3 years of bookkeeping experience in a similar role;
- Experience
with Sage and/or QuickBooks accounting software;
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Knowledge
of GAAP, payroll processes, and tax regulations;
- Experience
working in a paperless office environment is considered an asset.
This exciting opportunity offers a competitive wage in the range of
$30–$35 per hour, plus a comprehensive extended health benefits package. The
role has historically been successfully managed within a four-day work week;
however, Davara is open to flexibility for the right candidate, including the
potential for full-time hours depending on experience and organizational fit.
This position is primarily office-based in Kelowna, with flexibility around
scheduling and the potential for some hybrid work arrangements over time.
