Job Title: Bookkeeper

Petra Brands is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accuracy in our bookkeeping processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and a passion for maintaining organised financial data.
Key Responsibilities- Record financial transactions in the accounting system and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Prepare and process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting and cash flow management.
- Support the finance team in audits and other financial reviews.
- Experience managing bookkeeping and tax compliance for international entities is a plus
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
