The position is temporary for 9 months with an option for extension.
The Bookkeeper position will be a key position within the organization and the finance department, reporting to the Director of Finance and ensuring all aspects of day-to-day finances are running smoothly. It presents an exciting opportunity to join a successful start-up as it accelerates its growth. RESPONSIBILITIES
The role's responsibilities include full ownership on all bookkeeping aspects among other are:

  • Accounts payables management
  • Accounts receivables management
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit cards reconciliations
  • Employees expense reports
  • Monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Oversee external vendor for payroll process
  • Reports to authorities -Tax, VAT, Social security
  • Support the annual audit process
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Certified bookkeeper (Type 3)
  • At least 5 years of experience as an independent bookkeeper in a global company (preferably Tech companies)
  • Working in a fast pace growing startup company - strong advantage
  • Experience with Netsuite and/or SAP Business one - strong advantage
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Excellent English, verbal and written.- required
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Highly motivated and committed, ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines
  • Experience with bookkeeping of US companies
  • Experience working with ERP systems
