This is a remote position.
Overseeing the daily financial administration across three operating companies and a family trust, this position plays an essential coordinating role between internal operations and the external accounting firm. The function is responsible for processing invoices, managing debtors and creditors, and maintaining full accounting records up to the trial balance stage.
Manage end-to-end accounting functions up to trial balance for three companies and a family trust.
Act as the primary liaison and go-between for the external accounting firm.
Process and manage all invoicing, debtors, and creditors accurately.
Maintain complete confidentiality and precision across all sensitive financial records and documentation.
Multitask efficiently and show initiative to manage long-term projects and ongoing operational requirements.
Requirements
Proven track record in full-function bookkeeping up to trial balance.
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively between internal stakeholders and external accountants.
Highly tech-savvy with strong attention to detail and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Cape Town-based candidates are preferred
Accounting Software: Xero.
Productivity & Collaboration: MS Excel, SharePoint, Google Drive, Google Docs.
