Your role:
- Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with French GAAP and IFRS for international companies, including relevant notes to the financial statements.
- Maintenance, analysis, and reconciliation of local French GAAP books as well as confident reconciliation of differences with other accounting standards.
- Close collaboration with external payroll and tax partners to ensure compliance with all local legal requirements.
- Proactive coordination with internal teams (Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, Business Controlling) to ensure smooth operations in the finance department.
- Preparation and timely filing of all local financial reports (e.g., sales tax returns, corporate tax prepayments, tax returns)—you will also serve as a competent point of contact during the annual closing process for auditors, business controllers, management, and regulatory authorities.
What you bring to the table:
Several years of relevant professional experience in the finance or accounting field, ideally in an international context.
Excellent qualifications as a certified accountant (m/f/d) or a successfully completed degree, preferably from a renowned university, in the field of finance, accounting, or a comparable discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of French GAAP (required); experience with IFRS and/or HGB is a plus.
- Very strong Excel skills and confidence using reporting and analysis tools.
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English; knowledge of German is a plus.
