Seeking a Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and data entry requirements. The ideal candidate for this role should have strong attention to detail and proficiency in digital accounting systems to accurately input data and cross-reference financial records. This role is critical for maintaining accurate ledgers, processing invoices efficiently, and ensuring all organizational financial documentation is organized and up to
date.

What You'll Do:
You'll be the kind of person who:
  • Perform daily data entry tasks to record financial transactions, receipts, and payments accurately within the accounting system.
  • Process incoming vendor invoices, verify billing details, and match them with corresponding internal purchase records.
  • Review and examine internal expense claims to ensure compliance with established organizational guidelines and documentation standards.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and ledger accounts on a regular basis to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain and update digital archives of financial records, receipts, and invoices for audit readiness and internal tracking.
  • Utilize Xero accounting software exclusively to manage financial records, generate standard reports, and track transaction histories.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities by compiling financial data and ensuring all transactional entries for the period are finalized.

Requirements
What You Bring:
We're looking for someone who:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, general accounting, or data entry roles.
  • Proficiency and hands-on experience using Xero accounting software.
  • Strong functional knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable workflows, and invoice processing procedures.
  • High level of numerical accuracy and exceptional attention to detail when handling large volumes of transaction data.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet fixed reporting deadlines systematically.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to clarify transaction details and collaborate with internal team members.
