Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with Show Producers to identify, contact, and secure guests for Daily Wire programs on an as-needed basis.
- Research potential guests and trending topics to develop unique and compelling segment ideas tailored to each show’s talent and tone.
- Monitor current events, politics, pop culture, and industry trends to identify timely and relevant guest opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with public relations professionals, talent agents, and experts across multiple fields to ensure access to top-tier guests.
- Negotiate appearance terms, schedule interviews, and manage logistics including travel, scheduling, and communication to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- When appropriate, conduct pre-interviews to prepare guests for their appearance, review talking points, and gather background information for producers.
- Act quickly in response to developing stories to book experts, officials, or eyewitnesses for live or recorded interviews under tight deadlines.
Experience & Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience working as an entertainment or news organization talent booking agent
- Highly detail-oriented
- Highly motivated and self-starting personality
- Excellent time management skills
- Team player attitude
- Ability to remain calm under pressure but also maintain a sense of urgency when appropriate
- Strong sense of discretion and professionalism
- Ability to work well without supervision, but also comfortable deferring to a supervisor when appropriate
- G-suite proficiency
