Job Title: BOF Specialist - IC 

Work Level: WL1 

Scope:  Ice Cream Supply Chain 

Reports to: Logistics Manager IC 

Location: IC Factory Lahore, Pakistan

JOB PURPOSE  

Supervise overall operations of BOF warehouse, including receiving of FG from production, storing it in warehouse and then dispatching it to external warehouse and to carry out these tasks by ensuring compliance to safety and quality standards. The person will be responsible for creating and updating processes in order to facilitate continuous improvement environment, assuring great place to work and safe working conditions for all employees. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Supervision of overall warehousing operations in BOF by following site and logistics specific safety standards. 

  • Responsible for effective management of warehousing team comprising of labour and supervisory staff. 

  • Responsible for maintaining optimal warehouse utilization to ensure zero chocking incident at BOF. 

  • Ensuring efficient inventory controls including record keeping of stock movements. 

  • Coordinate with engineering team for issuance/ authorization of PTWs. 

  • Liaison with production team for timely receiving of finished goods from palletizing. 

  • Coordination with factory QA team for timely release of goods. 

  • Liaison with factory engineering team to ensure warehouse temperatures are maintained as per standards and any deviation is picked and acted upon immediately 

  • Coordination with transport team for efficient planning and loading of vehicles. 

  • Responsible for loading vehicle as per FEFO, following pre and post cool compliances. 

  • Managing financial budget of BOF related expenses and R&M. 

  • Managing timely creation of Purchase Orders related to BOF operations. 

  • Preparing monthly accruals data and ensuring timely payments to vendors. 

  • Managing record keeping and procurement of wooden pallets to ensure smooth factory operations. 

  • Managing MHEs and other equipment in the optimum condition for operational requirements. 

  • Design and monitor KPIs for effective performance management of team and build a performance driven culture. 

  • Identifying and leading improvement initiatives on Safety, Cost and Service delivery. 

  • Facilitate competence development of team through training/ empowering initiatives. 

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:  

 

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:    

 

  • 1-3 years working experience in warehousing / transportation. 

  • 1-2 years of team management experience. 

  • Strong communication and analytical skills. 

  • Hands on experience of SAP and MS Office.
