Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market analysis to drive strategic business initiatives. Candidates will be expected to manage large data sets for analysis; be able to structure and process qualitative and quantitative data and help draw insightful conclusions.
Create data driven presentations for use in both internal and external environments
Provide strong data and quantitative analysis to monitor business, product, and industry participants trends.
Work with different departments across the company on time sensitive data analysis which helps summarize business goals, initiatives, customer performance, etc.
Provide customer support on product specific inquiries and occasional external data requests
Monitor the competitive landscape and identify potential growth opportunities.
Develop a strong understanding of CME. Equity products, fielding customer inquiries and acting as a liaison with CME teams such as Client Development & Sales, Corporate Development, GCC, Clearing, Marketing, Technology, Operations, and more.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) required; Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or Economics preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must have strong analytical skills, including expertise in Google or Microsoft Suite and data aggregation. Tools such as Bloomberg, Tableau or experience handling large data sets using database software or programming languages a plus.
An understanding of the financial system and CME Group’s markets, and particularly a strong desire to learn more
Proven strong organizational skills
Must have strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills, while managing multiple stakeholders and client needs
Demonstrate a passion for financial markets with close attention to detail and unafraid to ask questions
Proven self-starter on projects and a desire to constantly assess and improve processes
