Reporting to the Manager, Product Operations, this entry- to intermediate-level role will be part of a team responsible for planning and coordinating the product release and product launch activities for QNX software products. In this role you will help to coordinate and execute various operational functions during the entire product lifecycle of QNX products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Configure systems for software release and to go-to-market including activities such as
- Configuring and testing data and systems that drive license and product fulfillment
- Setting up and testing product entitlements
- Reviewing and testing fulfillment steps and out of box experience
- Plan and implement changes needed for product End of Life transitions
- Analyze and transform data to drive licensing and fulfillment tooling and perform associated tasks such as creation of reports
- Administer special programs (e.g. Academic licensing or others as required)
- Assist technical support, sales, and other internal staff with issues relating to product licensing and fulfillment – problem-solve and work to implement solutions when needed
- Triage and respond to bug reports and requests for changes relating to product operations
- Create, review, and maintain wikis, written instructions and video instructions for internal and external audiences
- Create and document procedures and checklists for product fulfillment setup and product release
- Administer and support internal provisioning of QNX software licenses
- Manage and maintain long-term archives
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or college degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or other relevant discipline
- Superior attention to detail
- Collaborative attitude; you will be working with stakeholders and contributors across multiple departments
- Self-driven and highly productive
- Expertise in using common office applications such as Microsoft Office (including spreadsheets and Microsoft Word), wikis, etc.
- Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with software development particularly in embedded systems, either professionally or as a hobbyist
- Interest in the QNX embedded Operating System and applications that use embedded computing such as automotive applications, medical devices, robotics, industrial automation, etc.
- Familiarity with concepts relating to SKUs and product fulfillment particularly in software licensing and services contexts
- Familiarity with product lifecycles, new product introduction and go-to-market activities
- Understanding of concepts and practices in engineering, IT, business, finance, and law and history of strong collaboration with people whose primary roles are in those fields
ADDITIONAL ASSETS:
- Proven ability to work and engage with world-class engineering talent
- Strong verbal, written, project management, and interpersonal communication skills as well as strong customer service orientation are required.
- Knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g. ISO 26262, IEC 61508) and/or security standards (e.g. ISO 21434)
