Are you the person we are looking for?

We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Designer with a strong focus on digital design and content creation. This role is responsible for producing visually compelling digital content across various platforms, including our website, social media channels, and digital marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, has experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and possesses a background in both digital and print design.

You will join as the fifth member of a growing Brand and Digital team within the Marketing Department of QNX, reporting to the Director Brand & Digital. You will be part of the team that handles the brand design and all digital and analog assets of the QNX Brand, helping to shape a software brand with over 40 years of history that leads the global market in real-time OS technology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Digital Content Creation:

  • Develop and create high-quality digital content, including graphics, animations, and videos for web and social, aligned with the brand guidelines.
  • Design and edit website pages using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and brand-aligned.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create content that drives engagement and brand awareness.

Brand Design & Development:

  • Craft PowerPoint templates, design whitepapers, and develop infographics.
  • Ensure all creative outputs maintain a consistent visual identity that aligns with brand standards.
  • Assist in expanding the company's brand design across all digital and print materials.

Print Design:

  • Apply print design knowledge to create and edit materials like brochures and posters using Adobe InDesign.

Software Proficiency:

  • Expert use of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, and InDesign.
  • Proficient in AEM or similar content management systems, with the ability to edit and create web content.
  • Proficiency in working with 3D elements is a plus, though not required.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, web development, and external vendors, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Contribute to the creation of PowerPoint presentations and Word templates for internal and external use.

Innovation & Industry Trends:

  • Stay updated on the latest design trends, digital tools like Gen AI, and best practices to bring innovative ideas to the team.
  • Proactively suggest new ways to enhance the company’s digital presence and improve user experience.

You will have:

  • A background in B2B marketing or client side (inhouse agency), particularly within the automotive or embedded software industries.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating experience in digital graphic design and content creation for web and social media, with a focus on innovative, high-quality visual work.
  • Expertise in creating visually compelling content across various platforms, including websites, social media, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, and InDesign, with a strong understanding of design principles applicable to both digital and print mediums.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), showcasing the ability to design and manage web content.
  • Proficiency in creating PowerPoint templates, designing whitepapers, and developing infographics with an eye for detail and visual consistency.
  • Knowledge of web technologies and UX/UI principles, with the ability to demonstrate this in portfolio pieces that highlight user-centered design and functionality.
  • Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
