The Body in White (BIW) Standards Manager will staff with the "right" number of highly skilled personnel based on new program peaks and overall timing and manage BIW Standards and implement lessons learned for multiple new programs. The Manager will lead the development of Design to Manufacturing Proposals and implement them. The manager with co locate the resources within PDO and Advanced Engineering teams to ensure Product Standards are adhered to and Architecture is feasible. This position will drive manufacturing standards and their applications to be implemented across a complete family of vehicles. Collaborate with Advanced Process Team and lead the creation and publishing of initial BIW Process Maps, Vertical Integration before Program Approval to ensure alignment with Program Definition. The Manager will work with PDO, Advanced Program and Engineering teams early on in the Program timeline to ensure Architecture is feasible, Critical Product Standards are met and manufacturing requirements are included in the sections before top hat morph is initiated. Ensure BIW Product Standards are maintained, updated, and improved based on lessons learned and benchmarking and drive their applications to future programs. Rapidly execute product standards violation issue discovery / issue communication / issue closure. Provide program level status on a weekly basis. Ensure product designs will accommodate standard Bill of process and protect for reuse of assets and tooling. Drive for innovative and effective product and process
solutions to all future programs. They will lead the Benchmarking activities and develop proposals that will be best in class solutions for cost, quality and OPE.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 8+ years' working in the automotive industry including the following knowledge/experience:
- BIW sequence and process, Assembly Plant Body Shop experience including BIW Tooling / Process GD&T, PLP's and tolerances
- Strong knowledge of CAD Systems such as Teamcenter and Vis Mockup
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
