The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced Bitumen (Gangbar) Sprayer Operator to join our Maintenance Reseals Crew based in Auckland.
Working alongside the roading reseals crew, you'll perform the duties of a Specialist Operator to ensure the plant in operating correctly and the adjustments for the sprayer is accurately set.
In addition to the above you will
Drive the Bitumen Gangbar Sprayer Plant/Truck and be the passenger Spray Person when required
Oversee the quality control of the Bitumen spray rates
Make adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy of the spray fans.
Be part of asphalt labourer duties when needed

We’re looking for someone with
Must have experience as a Bitumen Sprayer/Operator (3-5 years ideally)
Hold a minimum Class 2 NZ drivers licence
Class 4 is advantageous, training will be provided
Dangerous Goods and WTR endorsement is advantageous
Physically fit to perform labourer duties
Communication skills, both verbal and written
Confident using devices such as iPads, Laptops
This is a permanent , full time position. The wage can range between $27.52 to $36.85 per hour pending on experience, plus overtime and allowances. The position title will be officially (Specialist Operator).
