In this role, you drive the growth of Eppendorf’s Bioprocess portfolio by combining strategic business development with strong relationship management. You identify and develop new business through systematic market analysis and direct customer contact, while nurturing existing accounts in line with Eppendorf’s strategic goals. Your work blends consultative selling, cross-selling of the broader Eppendorf portfolio, close collaboration with Marketing, and coordination of service support to ensure an excellent end-to-end customer experience.
- Identify new sales opportunities through structured market analysis and proactive outreach to prospective clients, managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing.
- Maintain and further develop relationships with existing pharma, biotech and academic customers, growing your regions and product markets in line with strategic objectives.
- Identify key decision-makers within target organisations, coordinate customer visits with relevant Eppendorf specialists, present solutions on-site and uncover future customer needs.
- Highlight potential applications of the wider Eppendorf product range and pass on any interest to the appropriate sales colleagues.
- Support Marketing initiatives and Bioprocess promotion activities, representing Eppendorf at trade shows and international Bioprocess conferences to strengthen brand reputation and visibility.
- Respond to customer service requests and, where needed, coordinate with the Eppendorf Bioprocess Center (EBC) service and support team to ensure prompt resolution.
- You have an academic degree in Bioengineering, Biotechnology or a related field and have at least 3 years of experience and deep expertise in Bioprocessing.
- Are skilled in using MS Office and have experience working with CRM systems.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Located in the UK and have a high willingness to travel (30–40%) within the UK and Europe.
