Role description:
This role is part of Arcadis’ Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis’ offices globally. The GEC brings key capabilities and capacity to support our clients seamlessly around the world. As BIM Coordinator you are part of the ABE Digital Team. In this role you are responsible for delivering, checking and coordinating the models and especially monitoring the quality standards within ARCADIS GEC and ARCADIS Belgium. Together with the other BIM Coordinators you act as the point of contact within the different disciplines for all BIM related aspects. As an expert you actively participate in the start-up and development of projects. In addition, you support your colleagues who model and assist the BIM Managers in their day-to-day assignments. Your input is strongly appreciated, and, within the scope of the Arcadis strategy, you will be expected to strengthen and expand the current BIM approach.
Role accountabilities:
- Part of ABE Digital Team, responsible for delivering, checking, coordinating BIM models, and ensuring quality standards within ARCADIS GEC and Belgium.
- Act as BIM point of contact across disciplines, support colleagues, assist BIM Managers, and contribute to project startup and development.
- Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plan, ARCADIS and international BIM standards, and guarantee quality of geometry, information, and documentation.
- Combine aspect models into federated models for clash detection and coordination; generate graphical and alphanumerical outputs.
- Identify, implement BIM process and workflow improvements; monitor and steer BIM processes within projects.
- Guide colleagues in BIM processes, promote BIM within ARCADIS, and participate in digital communities.
- Evaluate and implement new BIM tools and technologies in projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, ACC, OpenBIM workflows; scripting skills (Dynamo, Python/C#) for automation and QA; Power BI reporting. Knowledge of ISO 19650, Sofistik, BIMTrack, Solibri is a plus.
- You can write and express yourself professionally in English, knowledge of French is a plus.
