Location: Elmhurst, IL
Responsibilities:
- Processes AP/AR invoices and billing daily.
- Complete bi-monthly AP check runs.
- Uses judgment to make decisions on significant accounting items dealing with billing, credit, etc.
- Communicate with both management and customers on issues revolving around billing.
- Enters Utility and Employee expenses.
- Assist Service Department with invoicing.
- Complete credit memo log and audit monthly.
- Complete a weekly shipment audit.
- Communicate with sales team on a regular basis.
- All other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in an accounting related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in the accounting field.
- Highschool diploma or GED is required.
- Must have background using Microsoft 365 Suite.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and have strong communication skills.
- Team player and willing to help others.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and can work independently.
The typical hourly rate for this position ranges from $27.00 - $29.80 / hr. in Illinois. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
