We are looking for Billing Specialists!
As a Billing Specialist you will ensure the delivery of invoices to our customers, and you will be responsible for the maintenance of customer contact and invoice delivery details by email and full electronic invoice delivery channels (Finvoice, Peppol, Efact, Face, Chorus, Basware etc.). In some instances, you will be responsible for the manual processing of invoices into bespoke customer invoicing platforms.
As well as maintaining the customers data, you will also be responsible for resolving any delivery issues, proactively dealing with any instances where our comms do not get to the customer.

What you will be doing
- Management of an invoicing dashboard/platform.
- Updating and maintaining customer (accounts payable) contact information.
- Pro-actively responding to any delivery failures, reaching out to customers to correct contact information and reducing any potential impact on income.
- Managing customer requests for new invoicing channels.
- Maintenance of customer data for existing invoicing channels.
- Promote other delivery channels to customers as an alternative to email delivery.
- Achieve 100% electronic document delivery across Farnell EMEA and CPC.
- Deal with copy document requests, establishing whether there is a reason that the original had not been received.
- Reduce the volume of copy invoices requested (through accurate customer masterdata maintenance.
- Manage and resolve any billing related queries from assessment through to resolution.
- Highlight any unresolved issues to relevant credit controller and sales team – escalation channels.
What we are looking for
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written)
- High attention to detail, enjoy investigation and resolution to issues.
- Must be comfortable in written and verbal communication to (external and internal) customers.
