We're looking for a real go-getter with a knack for Billing Operations! Dive into an exciting role where you'll master Salesforce & NetSuite, and tackle billing with our Sales and Customer teams. Work closely with our teams to keep our operations tight and our customers happy.
What You'll Be Doing:
Billing Operations:

  • Utilize Salesforce as the primary Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform to manage customer accounts and billing information
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing based on customer agreements and contracts
  • Generate invoices and statements, and verify the accuracy of billing data


NetSuite ERP:

  • Serve as the point of contact for billing-related activities within the NetSuite Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce data seamlessly into NetSuite for streamlined billing processes
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data between Salesforce CRM and NetSuite ERP


Customer Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding billing inquiries, discrepancies, and issue resolution
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing billing-related concerns promptly and professionally
  • Manage assigned accounts and approaching due dates to determine where collection engagement needs to be prioritized
  • Keep detailed records of all communications, updates and payment status details within Netsuite


Revenue Recognition:

  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Monitor and reconcile billing data to ensure compliance with financial regulations


Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in billing operations
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in billing processes


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, or collection roles
  • Proven experience as a Billing Operations Specialist or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce CRM and an ERP
  • Strong understanding of Order to Cash operations, billing processes, revenue recognition & audit standards and financial reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with autonomy in a cross-functional role and collaborate in a cross-functional team environment
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
  • Familiarity with SaaS business model and billing practices
  • Familiarity with entity acquisition/integration is a plus
  • Familiarity with software and application integration is a plus
  • Certification in Salesforce or NetSuite is a plus
