The Role

About this Opportunity:

As a Billing Manager, you are responsible for the accurate processing of client account bills of Orion Portfolio Solutions accounts, as well as managing the operational billing team to ensure that new and existing accounts are billed timely and accurately. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.

For External Candidates:
Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE.

For Internal Candidates:
All internal employees, regardless of their current work arrangement (remote or in-office), are encouraged to apply.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Manage billing team to ensure accounts are setup and billed accurately and timely in multiple Orion databases

  • Manage month-end and quarter-end processes for billing system

  • Follow up on outstanding client fees

  • Resolve billing issues such as overpayments, credits or duplicate fees

  • Work with OPS operations teams including the trading and new accounts teams to ensure new account opening operational processes are handled smoothly

  • Maintain controls around billing processes and reconciliation between billing system to cash received

  • Manage projects related to billing changes within system or integrations between billing and other systems

  • Work with OPS service teams on resolving client billing issues as needed

We're looking for talent who:

  • Has experience with the Orion Advisor Technology platform

  • Is proficient in Salesforce or Laserfiche systems

  • Has minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration required

  • Possess minimum of 3 years of experience in billing or accounts receivable

  • Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:

$63,899.00 - $95,151.00

The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, Orion offers a competitive benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, and disability coverage on day one, 401(k) plan with employer match, paid parental leave, pet benefits including pawternity leave and pet insurance, student loan repayment and more.
