Position Overview:
Reporting to the Billing Manager, and as an integral part of Questel’s Services Billing Team, this role is responsible for the billing some of Questel’s US entities and liaising with customers to resolve billing inquiries.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
· Process sales invoices within the accounting and project management systems
· Review invoices to ensure billing accuracy
· Create and maintain client records in accounting system
· Ensure completeness of revenue recognition by invoicing all clients in an accurate and timely fashion
· Problem-solve customer queries regarding billing
· Improve billing processes where applicable by driving efficiency, standardization, and simplification
· Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close
· Work on special projects and other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred. In addition, any combination of education, experience and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
· 1-3 years’ billing or accounting experience
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
· Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times
· Mind for process improvement to support future growth and scaling
· Technology literate; must be comfortable working in multiple systems including NetSuite and billing portals
· Contribute to optimizing efficiency by leveraging technology and creative problem-solving
· Assist as needed in the integration of accounting systems from business acquisitions
· Highly developed interpersonal skills
· Able to stay on task with minimal supervision and regularly report on progress on an individual and team basis
· Able to effectively multi-task in stressful situations
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office – strong Excel skills (pivot tables, regression analysis, VLOOKUP) required
· Able to complete a heavy workload within an established time frame
· Highly motivated with a willingness to take initiative and complete assignments
· Willing to participate in a culture of responsiveness to strengthen relationships and ensure the needs and time of others are met and respected
· Fluent in English
· Fluency in a second language, other than English is preferred, but not required
