Billing Analyst

Main Responsibilities: 

• Prepare. Generate and send invoices to clients in an accurate and timely manner
• Review and verify billing data for accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policies and contractual agreements
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes with clients and internal teams
• Collaborate with finance, sales, order management and other service teams to streamline the billing process
• Reconcile billing accounts and maintain detailed records of financial transactions
• Prepare billing reports and forecasts for management review
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements related to billing and revenue recognition
• Ability to resolve complex and sensitive billing issues and process exceptions accurately and in a timely manner
• Continuously evaluate and improve efficiency of billing processes and procedures to enhance speed and quality
• Document and maintain internal policies and procedures
• Manage month end and quarter end billing volumes to meet close deadlines
• Work closely with the revenue recognition team to ensure accounting for billed and unbilled revenue is recorded accurately and in a timely manner
• Develop, monitor and report on key performance indicators ensuring continuous improvement
• Collaborate to define systems requirements and ensure alignment with billing policies
• Perform systems testing, validation and user training for new implementations or enhancements
• Work closely with external audit team regarding all quarterly review and annual audit requirements. 

Desired Skills and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5-7 years of experience in SAAS billing required
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills, NetSuite and Salesforce CRM
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure

Compensation Range

The base salary range for this role at minimum, midpoint and maximum is shown above. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired close to or at the maximum of the salary range. At Sprinklr, base pay depends on multiple individualized factors, including experience, qualifications, job-related knowledge and skills, and geographic location. Base pay also depends on the relative experience, knowledge, skills to our internal peers in the role.  Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package: the successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Sprinklr’s  discretionary bonus plan, commission plan and/or equity plan, depending on role.
