TITLE:                            Bilingual Training Specialist

LOCATION:                   Carmel, IN; Chicago, IL or
REMOTE from any US based location

The stated pay range is based on a national-average location.  Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location.  This position is bonus eligible. Candidates and associates may be asked to travel to corporate offices for interviews, training and/or meetings. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.

CNO Financial Group is seeking a Bilingual Training Specialist. The Bilingual (English and Spanish) Training Specialist is primarily responsible for designing training materials and facilitating cross-training and new hire learning events across multiple CNO brands. Learning events range in duration from one-day refresher classes to multiple-week new hire training classes. The bilingual training covers topics impacting the Enterprise Operations Sales organization, including new system implementations, system functionality, new products, procedural changes, and regulatory/compliance information. This position is responsible for ensuring training materials and translations are accurate and consistent across formats while managing the classroom, developing detailed class agendas, and using various learning tools and techniques to maximize the learning experience.

As a Bilingual Training Specialist your responsibilities will require you to:

  • Facilitate foundational-level formal and informal learning experiences for bilingual audiences, including, but not limited to, on-the-job training, cross-training, and new hire training related to products, processes, systems, and concepts.
  • Develop bilingual communication materials to support refresher topics for targeted audiences. These knowledge materials are used during learning events, as well as in email or bulletin communications.
  • Administer training knowledge checks and assessments, analyzing results to determine effectiveness of training content, as well as learner gap areas.
  • Engage with business partners to plan learning events.
  • Develop communication related to specific learning events to prepare participants for the learning experience.
  • Maintain an active knowledge of the subjects taught and stimulate enthusiasm.
  • Recognize various participant learning styles and utilize a wide variety of facilitation methods to best meet the needs of the audience and learning situation.
  • Manage, maintain and report class progress to appropriate business partners.
  • Assist with the training scheduling and logistics process.
  • Manage the virtual classroom including supervision of participants, evaluation, feedback, coaching and corrective measures.   
  • Convey training content clearly and concisely that engages learners and improves learning retention rates.

The Bilingual Training Specialist position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Are fluent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish
  • Have proven ability to deliver presentations, facilitate meetings, and conduct training for bilingual audiences.
  • Can work productively on multiple projects, while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate proper use of grammar and punctuation.
  • Can communicate with bilingual audiences in a simplistic way but with sufficient detail to be understood by the appropriate audience.
  • Display flexibility and willingness to accept constantly changing project/program updates; responds and adjusts to changing situations or priorities.
  • Effectively prioritizes and organizes project responsibilities while performing multiple tasks.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, effectively collaborate with others and builds strong relationships within team and business partners.
  • Have strong problem-solving and business capabilities.
  • Possess advanced Power Point and Excel skills: strong overall background in MS communication tools

What you’ll need:

  • Education: High-School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Field of study: General
  • Certifications/Licenses: Life insurance sales license
  • Related Work Experience: minimum of 1 year of experience selling or training of service or tool.

What will set you apart:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Field of study: Business, Education, Communications or related field.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Professional Learning Organization affiliation or designations a plus., Microsoft certifications, Adobe Articulate,
  • Related Work Experience: 3 years of training delivery experience.  Experience in the Insurance industry is a plus; strong background in SharePoint. Intermediate skills with Adobe, SharePoint, MS Visio or similar software
  • Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours

Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Carmel, Chicago, and Orlando) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours.  

All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically.  Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.

Compensation

Pay Range: $73,700.00 - $110,500.00 Annual
