The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for selecting and hiring high quality candidates to fill Field Retail Manager, Supply Chain, Wireless and some corporate job vacancies. They will participate in activities such as sourcing, interviewing, recommending, referencing and promoting Staples as a viable employer.
Specifically, You Will:
Open assigned job requisitions and consult with hiring Manager.
Decide on and implement all appropriate sourcing avenues for posting and promoting a position.
Initiate a passive candidate search through mining and or headhunting as requested.
Screen assigned job requisition to assess applicant’s suitability for interviews and book interviews accordingly.
Conduct interviews in a professional, confidential manner, ensuring the candidates retain a positive outlook towards the company and in accordance with federal and provincial laws.
Recommend viable candidates to hire Manager and coordinates interviews with appropriate parties.
Some of what you need:
University Degree/Post Secondary Education required or related experience preferred.
1 – 2 years previous recruitment experience preferred.
Bilingual (French) is required.
Previous experience in retail is an asset.
Physical demands/working conditions:
Office environment – Hybrid, with 4 days onsite in Richmond Hill, subject to the hybrid policy.
