Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Plant HR Manager at our Council Bluffs, IA manufacturing facility, you will provide administrative HR support for multiple departments and occasionally across the facility completing projects for respective HR teams and departments. You will handle the daily responsibilities including coordinating employee engagement and retention workstreams, processing multiple transactions related to employee data changes, maintain employee information and files, collaborate with other departments on HR matters (i.e. recruitment, payroll, benefits) to provide excellent customer service to current, prospective and former employees.
What will you do?
- Provide customer service to current, prospective and former employees on varying HR-related matters. Resolve HR issues while working with employees, partners, management, and other team members potentially across the facility.
- Develop, coordinate and administer new employee orientations with hiring managers and HR generalists.
- Lead the administration of several employee relation and engagement programs (e.g. roundtables, stay interviews, service awards)
- Identify, suggest, and implement ongoing process improvements related to orientation, onboarding, and engagement.
- Lead broader HR projects to improve HR programs, best practice sharing, development and standardization of processes and communications.
- Provide backup support for payroll, unemployment, and attendance.
- Oversee general duties such as copying, personnel file maintenance, and other special projects.
What do you need?
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related degree
- 3+ years HR experience
- Bilingual
- Experience with HRIS (i.e. Workday)
