  • Responsible for public and private quotations
  • Knowledge in Secop system ( Colombia´s public purchase system)
  • Knowledge in BIONEXO , ARIBA, MEDICAL BM systems (Colombia´s private purchase system)
  • Knowledge of public bids in Costa Rica (desirable)
  • Work closely with commercial team, to receive price proposals, product identification and permission to send quotation for the customer.
  • Analyze, develop tender strategies and handle tenders and contracts with customers and commercial partners while ensuring quality and legal compliance.
  • Identify risks of not attendance to contracts
  • Contribute to the development of tender strategies for the assigned area
  • Remains up to date with local and regional tender/HMO requirements (legal requirements within MedTech)
  • Act as a Quality and compliance specialist for the local organization (ISO, SOX, SOPs, internal/external controls)
  • Perform Tender identification and assessment
  • Perform Tender submission, outcome analysis and contract handling
  • Accountable for productivity and quality metrics of staff, and provide regular standard progress reports and quality metrics to management and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Partner with sales mgrs and reps to manage effectively bids and HMO, participate in improvement projects
  • Perform routine and ad-hoc data analysis and generate reports
  • Respond to inquiries and requests from stakeholders and resolve issues with some complexity
  • Identify opportunities for innovations in processes.
  • Management and input of purchasing orders – Costa Rica

What you will need

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • 3-4 years of previous analytical knowledge including, spreadsheets, database management systems, and word processing Required

  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Ability to quantify abstract conceptual data into concrete analysis
  • Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of analytics and tender management
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of analytics and private quotes
  • Solid knowledge of business acumen
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the organization on specific projects
  • Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
