In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity assessment and bid strategy through technical and commercial proposal preparation, internal approvals, customer negotiations, contract award, and handover to execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals in line with customer requirements, bid strategy, and company processes.
- Prepare prequalification documents, tender submissions, cost estimates, bill of quantities, execution plans, and other required bid documentation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Sourcing, Construction, EHS, and Finance to ensure timely and accurate bid submissions.
- Lead site visits with relevant support functions to support technical solution development.
- Manage the flow of information between internal teams, suppliers, partners, and customers throughout the proposal development process.
- Organize and lead bid risk assessments, ensuring that commercial, technical, operational, and execution risks are identified and mitigation plans are developed.
- Work closely with sourcing and supply teams to optimize cost competitiveness and project cash flow.
- Support customer discussions and negotiations during tendering and contract finalization stages.
- Drive technical and commercial proposal activities for AIS/GIS renovation, modernization, and extension projects.
- Ensure proposals comply with customer technical specifications, commercial requirements, and internal governance processes.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen proposal competitiveness through optimized technical solutions, sourcing strategies, and commercial positioning.
- Build strong customer relationships and contribute to identifying future business opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement through bid reviews, lessons learned, and win/loss analysis.
- Ensure smooth handover of awarded projects to execution and operations teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college on engineering preferably from Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bid management/sales and/or project management on HV Substations and brown field projects within UAE and preferably resident in UAE.
- Experience in HV solutions, Grid Solutions sales, and bid management processes across the MEA region and direct experience working with major utility providers.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Demonstrated success in managing time-sensitive bid processes, with a proven ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and quality under intense schedule pressures.
