We are looking for a BI-SSRS Reports Developer .This position will be Full Time and Hybrid Mode - Bangalore.What You’ll Do
- Computer Science degree and 5 to 7 years related experience and/or training.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Deep understanding of reports development best practices, including code reviews, source control management, testing and operations.
- Knowledge of modern programming languages, platforms, and open-source technologies.
- Utilize Coding\scripting skills on Database like SQL and data tools to develop scalable and maintainable Reports, dashboards. Ensure code quality through unit testing, debugging, and documentation practices.
- Identify performance bottlenecks in data processing and analytics workflows and optimize code, algorithms, and infrastructure to enhance scalability, speed, and efficiency. Implement parallel processing, caching mechanisms, and other optimization techniques as required.
- Provide tier 3+ support in-group and out of group customers as well as make safe changes to production systems (OS, database, and application).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in data analytics, big data, and related technologies. Explore and evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to drive innovation and improve data and analytics capabilities.
- Expertise in DB scripting on SQL and designing report.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience as a report developer, software engineer, or data engineer with a focus on SQL server reporting services (SSRS).
- Expert in database querying capability to build and track complex KPIs on SQL.
- Working experience on SQL DB is a must.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn on own.
Good to have:
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g SAP BO, Power BI or similar).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services is an add on.
- Knowledge on Databricks, Python scripting, Grafana.
Physical Demands
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
