At Arctic Wolf, you won’t just watch the cybersecurity industry evolve – you'll help lead the change. Our global Pack is made up of people who thrive on solving hard problems, moving fast, and building technology that protects organizations around the world. We’re proud to be recognized by Forbes, CNBC, Fortune, CRN, Gartner Peer Insights and IDC MarketScape – but what matters most is the work behind it: delivering real outcomes for customers through award winning innovation like our Aurora Platform.

If you’re looking for meaningful work, smart teammates and the chance to make a real impact in a high-growth company that’s redefining security operations, Arctic Wolf is the right place for you!

Our mission is simple: End Cyber Risk. We’re looking for a / an Business Intelligence to be part of making this/that happen.

Position Overview and Objective

The BI Team at Arctic Wolf runs the internal data platform used for analytics and several integrations. Our stack is Snowflake, Tableau, dbt Cloud, and Fivetran. We need someone to keep it healthy day-to-day as data volume and the number of teams and use cases grow.

This is operations work. You are not redesigning the architecture. You are administrating it. That means access management, performance tuning, spend control, incident response, and the configuration decisions that quietly determine whether the platform is dependable. You will work with our data, governance and security teams, and you will be the point person for the health and maintenance of our platforms.

Responsibilities

As a Business Intelligence at ARCTIC WOLF, you will:

  • Snowflake Administration. Warehouses, databases, roles, user-management and resource monitors across all environments. Tuning warehouse size and auto-suspend behavior. Investigating query profiles when something is slow or expensive, and working with the people running those queries to fix the root cause rather than throw bigger warehouses at it.
  • RBAC and Governance. A role strategy that stays clean as the org grows. Quarterly access reviews. Masking and row-access policies where the data warrants it. Audit support when our internal auditors ask.
  • Cost Monitoring. Monitors Snowflake usage and helps track compute and storage consumption. Generates visualizations used to identify cost trends. Flags and reports anomalies to senior team members.
  • Fivetran and dbt Core Operations. Monitors connector health and sync status in Fivetran and flags failures or delays. Supports schema change handling and credential updates as directed. Assists with running and monitoring dbt Core ci/cd processes.
  • Tableau Administration. Sites, projects, permissions, and Cloud health. Extract refresh monitoring. Content lifecycle so the platform does not fill up with abandoned workbooks.
  • Documentation and Enablement. Runbooks for the things that break repeatedly. Onboarding docs for analysts and developers new to the stack. Lightweight standards other teams can follow when they request schemas, roles, or jobs.

Experience and Requirements:
We’re looking for someone with experience in:

Required:

  • 5+ years on a production Snowflake platform
  • Strong Snowflake administration: warehouses, integrations, RBAC, resource monitors, ACCOUNT_USAGE views, query profiling
  • Operating experience with dbt (Core or Cloud) and Fivetran
  • Advanced SQL query performance tuning
  • BI platform administration; Tableau preferred, Looker or Power BI considered
  • Concrete examples of cost optimization on a cloud warehouse, with numbers
  • Comfort working with a metric that did not exist a year ago. AI/LLM cost management is new ground for everyone
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex functions and the cost mechanics behind them
  • Familiarity with token-based pricing and model-selection economics across LLM providers
  • SnowPro Core or higher. Specifically SnowPro Advanced: Administrator
  • Git-based workflows for platform changes
  • Data observability tooling such as Data Metric Functions (DMFs)
  • SSO and SCIM provisioning into Snowflake or Tableau
  • Python for automation work like access reviews, cost reports, and ad-hoc remediation
