Position Summary
As a BI Analyst within the Pharmacy Services Finance Business Intelligence, Automation, & Analytics organization, you’ll have the opportunity to become a trusted consultant to the CFO organization, deriving meaning and insights from a massive amount of financial data. Leveraging industry leading technology, you’ll be tasked with designing dashboards and data visualizations used by stakeholders across the enterprise to drive profitability, expense efficiency, and other key financial measurements. You’ll also have the opportunity to dive deeper into the data at CVS Health, leveraging sound research and analysis to drive tactical and strategic decision making.
- Design dashboards and data visualizations with a focus on usability and speed-to-insight
- Collaborate with internal Finance stakeholders to determine the analytical needs of the organization
- Partner with data engineering colleagues to develop new analytics products in an effective and efficient manner
- Develop holistic semantic layer data sources, enabling multiple solutions from a singular source
- Ensure developed solutions are of sound quality, consistently available, and performing to expectations
- Drive continuous improvement by automating and streamlining existing technical processes
- Respond timely to ad-hoc needs for data and reporting as necessary to support the larger Finance organization
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Tableau or other BI technologies such as Power BI, Qlik
- 3+ years of experience with financial data
- 3+ years of experience writing intermediate to advanced SQL queries
- 1+ years of experience leveraging Python or R in an analytics setting
- 1+ years of experience working with cloud platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to data engineering and modeling concepts (ETL, dimensional models, etc.)
- Exposure to data mining/wrangling technologies such as Alteryx, Trifacta, Talend
- Ability to identify potential technical problems and craft innovate solutions to overcome them
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work quickly under potentially ambiguous circumstances
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field

The typical pay range for this role is:
$79,310.00 - $158,620.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
