Role OverviewThis is an analytics-first role with approximately 80% of your time focused on analytics and business intelligence, and 20% dedicated to data engineering and automation.
We're looking for an analytics-focused professional with strong data engineering skills. While you'll need solid engineering knowledge to build and maintain reliable data pipelines, your primary focus will be on delivering insights, dashboards, and business reporting rather than developing large-scale BI infrastructure.
Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you'll work closely with Product, Commercial, CRM, Marketing, and Operations teams to provide accurate, reliable, and actionable data that drives business growth.
Location: Prague, Czech Republic (office-based)
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse business, product, commercial, and player data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Design, build, and maintain dashboards and self-service reporting using Metabase, Omni, or similar BI platforms.
Develop meaningful KPIs and business metrics for stakeholders across the company.
Build and maintain reliable ELT pipelines and data models.
Integrate data from APIs, PostgreSQL databases, AWS services, and other data sources.
Write efficient SQL queries against PostgreSQL and Amazon Redshift.
Use Python to automate data ingestion, reporting, and business processes.
Monitor data quality and implement automated validation and alerting.
Optimise SQL queries and data warehouse performance.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions.
Support analytics related to player behaviour, CRM performance, commercial reporting, fraud detection, and financial reporting.
2+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, BI Engineering, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business recommendations.
Advanced SQL skills, particularly with PostgreSQL and Amazon Redshift.
Experience building data models and ELT pipelines.
Proficiency in Python for data ingestion, automation, and API integrations.
Experience working with AWS, especially Redshift and S3.
Experience integrating data from APIs, databases, and flat files.
Experience building dashboards and self-service reporting using Metabase, Omni, or similar BI platforms.
Strong understanding of data quality, monitoring, and automated alerting.
Experience working with product, commercial, CRM, or player analytics.
Experience in iGaming, online casino, crypto, fintech, or another high-volume transactional industry is highly desirable.
Experience with Azure Application Insights, New Relic, or similar telemetry tools is an advantage.
Understanding of player analytics, fraud detection, CRM, and financial reporting is a plus.
Czech language is a nice-to-have.
Excellent English communication skills.
Salary: €50,000–€55,000 gross per year.
