Role Objectives:
The Benefits Integration Technician sets up all new benefit plans in the HCM systems including PEO master policies and client-sponsored plans and, also sets up the benefit plans in HCM systems for open enrollment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather benefit and census information from the service team or benefit broker/OD representative
- Setup client as needed for all aspects of benefits including but not limited to enrollment workflows, notifications, plan design, and ACA configuration
- Setup existing COBRA participants in all systems
- Gather login information for benefit carriers and develop work instructions for ongoing maintenance as applicable
- Stay in communication with the service team on progress and needs
- Transition clients to the service team once setup is complete
- Build the online open enrollment workflow for client-sponsored plans
- Set up any new plans for open enrollment
- Assist with file feed setup, testing, and maintenance to include individual client connection
- Review error reports from medical file feeds and make necessary corrections
- Configure and manage Pay(k)onnect for retirement integrations as needed
Required Experience:
- 2+ years of work experience in the benefits field
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or associate degree with equivalent experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience in PrismHR and/or Isolved preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Research and analytical skills
- Strong computer literacy
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of honesty and integrity
