Make an Impact Every DayAs a Behavior Specialist, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed psychologist to assess needs, develop individualized behavioral support plans, train staff, and help individuals achieve meaningful personal goals.
What You'll Do:✅ Conduct behavioral assessments and psychological testing
✅ Develop individualized behavior support plans that promote:
- Self-direction
- Emotional well-being
- Skill development
- Independence and community participation
✅ Monitor and evaluate treatment goals and outcomes
✅ Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning
✅ Train and coach direct support professionals on behavior support strategies
✅ Collaborate with psychological, psychiatric, and residential teams
✅ Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
✅ Provide ongoing support, consultation, and behavioral guidance across residential programs
What We're Looking For:- Master's Degree in Applied Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field
- Experience in behavioral assessment and intervention
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
