Responsibilities
The Senior Drupal Developer is passionate about web development, excels in both front-end and back-end development, and has a deep understanding of Drupal CMS. The Senior Drupal Developer will collaborate closely with cross functional teams to design, develop, and maintain web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences and meet our clients' requirements.
Skills / Who You Are
You will possess a demonstrated functional knowledge of all the layers of software development especially focused on development and maintenance of Drupal based websites and should be comfortable working in both front-end and back-end coding languages. The Senior Drupal Developer will work as part of cross-functional teams that are responsible for creating innovative and user-friendly web solutions for our clients.
You bring to the table:
- 7 years minimum experience in Drupal development, including Drupal 8, 9, and 10.
- Knowledge of Drupal theming, template customization, and module development.
- Strong front-end skills, including proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.
- Proficiency in PHP and experience with backend development.
- Familiarity with web performance optimization and security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Extensive knowledge about Search API/Search API solr
- Extensive knowledge about Azure app service
- Ability to upgrade Drupal platforms and keeping up with core updates.
- Knowledge of moving from one app service to another (AWS potentially)
- Adaptability to a smaller team and wearing many hats
- Responsive to quick and unplanned work/bugs
- Proficient in deployment processes on Azure app services
- Extensive knowledge of facets, tagging and search functionality using Search API/Search Api solr on specific content types
- Knowledge of implementation of Multifactor Authentication
- Knowledge of government security expectations
BCT offers a competitive total compensation package that, for this position, includes base pay with a starting annual salary range of $120,000 to $130,000, along with a generous benefits package. BCT’s benefits include heavily subsidized medical, dental and vision coverage, fully vested 401k plan with company match, company paid life and disability insurance plans, a strong work-life balance/time-off structure and a fully supported remote work policy.
This is a remote position, located in any of the fifty United States or Washington, DC. BCT Partners works primarily on Eastern Time, though we do have staff in all four time zones.
