How you will make an impact:
The Biologicals and Chemicals Division, or BCD, is a ~$1.7B business within the BioProduction Group. BCD supports our BioPharma partners in the manufacturing of life-changing and life-saving biologics, including therapies for oncology, autoimmune disease, vaccines, blood disorders, rare diseases, and more, through our premier Gibco product offerings.
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial leadership for our Detroit and Miami sites. This role will partner closely with Site Operations and Business teams to drive operational performance and value creation while strengthening our ability to serve our global customers.
What you will do
- Serve as a trusted finance partner to site leadership and business segment leads, providing financial guidance, insights, and recommendations that support effective decision-making
- Review, analyze, and monitor complex revenue, margin, and operating expense performance across the division, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
- Interpret financial results and translate data into actionable insights that help leaders understand business performance and make informed decisions
- Support the development of the annual operating plan, weekly revenue forecasts, and other financial projections, providing oversight and constructively challenging assumptions where appropriate.
- Monitor cost performance and provide guidance to segment and site leaders on financial results, cost drivers, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with site leadership on benchmarking, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational and financial performance.
- Build an environment of strong internal controls and adherence to company policies.
- Model a continuous improvement mindset and drive efficiency across the business, functions, and finance operating processes.

Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered
- MBA preferred
- 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Cognos or equivalent reporting tools
- Travel less than 25%
