ECS is seeking a Basic Cost Analyst to work in our Dahlgren, VA (Hybrid) office.
Job Description:
ECS seeks qualified candidates to support the Missile Defense Agency in Dahlgren, VA. The chosen candidate will work closely with team members and/or supervisors on assigned projects and activities with emphasis on thoroughness, technical accuracy, and timeliness of products. Employee focuses on improving detailed understanding of the organization and mastering skills required for assigned tasks. This position is mostly on-site support with occasional remote work so the analyst can better understand the program, keep face-to-face with the customer, and get comfortable with day-to-day responsibilities.
You also will be asked to:
- Prepare and provide Analyses of Alternatives, Business Case Analyses, and mid-term and far-term architecture planning studies
- Analyze Contract Performance Reports (CPRs) and Cost and Software Data Reports (CSDRs) formerly CCDRs and incorporate data into cost estimates
- Develop Cost Models and articulate results both in written form and verbally
- Conduct Cost Research Studies
- Conduct budget analysis and budget formulation
Salary Range: $66,000-$76,000

- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance.
- BA/BS Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Finance or related field.
- Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Desired Skills:
- BS/BA in a related field.
- MS Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Finance or related field.
- Proficiency with the Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tool (ACEIT).
