About this opportunity:
Join Ericsson's Business Network Engineering Unit as a Senior Baseband System Developer. You'll work with a group focused on driving systemization and innovation for next-generation Radio Access Network products, emphasizing baseband algorithms and the development of cutting-edge wireless technologies, including signal processing and multi-antenna systems.

What you will do:
• Lead systemization for next-generation Radio Access Network products: define system requirements, drive feature development, and align technical roadmaps.• Design, optimize, and validate physical layer (L1) and radio resource management (RRM) algorithms, focusing on digital signal processing, MIMO, and beamforming strategies.• Conduct advanced link-level and network-level system studies to evaluate and improve wireless network performance and efficiency for 5G/6G.• Develop and refine software simulations and tools (link- and network-level) to assess designs and guide product decisions.• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to ensure seamless system integration, strategic alignment, and delivery of high-impact features.• Contribute to defining and influencing 5G/6G standards, represent technical direction in cross-team forums, and mentor/guide teammates to grow capabilities.• Deliver systemization artifacts such as requirements and architectures that accelerate product delivery and support successful feature integration.
The skills you bring:
• 10+ years of experience in wireless systems engineering, focusing on 5G/6G and RAN systemization with demonstrated technical direction and strategic alignment experience.• Deep expertise in communications theory, digital signal processing, MIMO, and beamforming techniques.• Strong experience with simulation environments and tools for link- and network-level evaluation.• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and innovation-driven mindset with a track record of delivering system-level improvements that positively impact product KPIs.• Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and ability to work effectively across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.• Proficiency in one or more of Java, MATLAB, C/C++ and Python• Education: MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a closely related discipline.
