Now's your chance to build and lead a dynamic RU BB SW section in Lodz, working closely with talented peers in Lodz, Kista, Lund, and Beijing. As a key member of this global team, you'll report directly to the Head of PEG Baseband SW and play a critical role in enabling long-term SW architecture evolution, outstanding developer experiences, and solution-oriented Radio business excellence.
What you will do
• Recruit, mentor, and drive two development teams and E2E testers specializing in feature development, ASIC adaptations, and crafting new Radio variants.• Work closely with global leadership teams and peers within PEU RAN Performance to strengthen BB L1 SW capabilities.• Collaborate hand-in-hand with Radio RA:s to align short- and long-term goals.• Create a flow-optimized environment that fosters innovation and continuous improvement.• Promote a culture of knowledge sharing, learning, and operational brilliance.• Drive technology and product leadership to deliver world-class solutions.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:• A technical degree from a recognized university.• Proven experience as a team leader or manager in software development ( Layer 1 is preferred) • Capable of analysing situations and making informed, timely decisions.• A track record of delivering sustainable, proactive, and impactful solutions.• Proficiency in change management and developing innovative strategies and concepts.• A knack for taking a holistic view, coupled with the agility to tackle critical tasks.• Solid understanding of Lean and Agile methodologies.• Effective English communication skills, both written and spoken
