As a BASE Site Supervisor, you'll lead one of our Before & After School Enrichment programs, creating engaging experiences that inspire children to build friendships, develop confidence, and discover their potential. You'll mentor staff, partner with families and schools, and help ensure every child feels safe, included, and excited to come to the Y each day.

What You'll Do
As the on-site leader, you'll:
- Lead daily operations of a licensed before and after school program serving school-age youth.
- Plan and implement fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities that support youth development.
- Recruit, coach, supervise, and support staff and volunteers to provide exceptional program experiences.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment where every child feels valued, respected, and successful.
- Build positive relationships with families, school staff, community partners, and YMCA colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with Washington State licensing requirements, YMCA policies, and youth protection standards.
- Maintain program records, attendance, licensing documentation, and required reports.
- Oversee classroom management, behavior support, safety practices, and emergency preparedness.
- Coordinate snacks, supplies, and program materials to keep operations running smoothly.
- Participate in family events, YMCA initiatives, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:

Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Have completed 12 college credits (100-level or above) or equivalent as approved by DCYF and complete an additional 18 credits within five years.
- Minimum two years of experience working with children in a group setting.
- Previous leadership or staff supervision experience preferred.
- Ability to meet all DCYF licensing requirements and successfully complete required background checks.
- Current (or ability to obtain):
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- Food Handler Permit
- STARS School Age Basic Training
- Required DCYF and YMCA trainings
- Reliable transportation.
- Full-time positions must be available to work split shifts (morning before school and afternoon after school).
