What will you do?
Hibob is a vibrant, dynamic, happy place to work. A start-up with an amazing culture, and bright and resourceful people in London, Amsterdam, New York, Sydney, and Tel Aviv. We're growing fast and looking for a seasoned Tech Lead to join our Payroll Hub group.
As a Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical direction, mentoring team members, and driving innovation.
The ideal Tech Lead should be a strategic thinker, a technical expert, a culture-builder, and a catalyst for innovation. The emphasis is on balancing technical execution with strategic vision, fostering a culture of excellence, and driving continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong backend background.
- 3+ years of experience as a Tech Lead, preferably in dynamic, fast-paced companies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- People-person with strong leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and agile environment
- Excellent knowledge of software design and scalable web architecture.
- Experience developing SaaS products hosted in a cloud platform like AWS or equivalent.
- Independent, resourceful, and proactive team player with a desire to impact our team, our product, and our customers.
- Excellent communication skills in both Hebrew and English
The following are a big plus
- Experience developing payments or other FinTech products
- Experience with Kotlin / Scala / Java
- Experience with micro-service ecosystems.
- Experience with event driven architecture
- A track record of successful project delivery
- Experience mentoring and developing software engineers
