What You’ll Do:

As the Team Lead in the Core Company, you will manage a high-impact squad dedicated to ensuring Sunbit's compliance with critical processes and data integrity. Your role is central to driving quality, scalability, and accountability in processes such as compliance audits, credit bureau furnishing.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, compliance, and data, leading backend engineers and data specialists to build robust systems that power Sunbit’s compliance and regulatory functions. You'll have a chance to shape the technical strategy while remaining hands-on with modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor a dynamic team of engineers, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
• Architect scalable, high-performance systems that support compliance-critical operations
• Design and oversee Backend infra & data pipelines to ensure accurate, auditable, and scalable compliance processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, product managers, legal, and business stakeholders, to align technology and compliance goals.
• Act as the single point of contact for legal, handling all audit requests (SOC, state, and other regulatory audits).

Requirements

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on system architecture.
• 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams and managing end-to-end project lifecycles.
• Strong background in building large-scale, high-performance systems.
• Experience with data pipelines, big data infrastructure, and microservices architecture, and message bus.
• Hands-on experience with Java, and cloud technologies.
• Passion for compliance, data accuracy, and impactful results.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams and with senior leadership.
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
