We're looking for a detail-oriented and innovative AI QA Engineer to become a key guardian of quality for our mission-critical backend systems that handle card transactions from initiation through to completion. In this role, you won’t just execute tests; you'll embed quality deeply into our payment infrastructure, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and compliance within our high-volume, cloud-native environment.
What You'll Be Doing: At Unlimit, QA is a proactive, ongoing discipline that ensures our systems are robust, secure, and seamlessly perform under high demands. As an AI QA Engineer in Payment Processing, you will take the lead in shaping and refining our QA processes.
You’ll dive deeply into the logic behind our payment systems, reviewing and refining business and technical requirements. Collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and analysts, you'll ensure requirements are comprehensive and testable, catching potential issues early and setting a high bar for quality.
Your core responsibility involves meticulously designing, developing, and executing thorough test plans and cases for APIs, microservices, and complex transaction flows using AI Agent. You will design the high-level testing strategy and blueprint for quality and direct AI agent to perform thorough functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on our critical payment adapters and applications.
You'll leverage your expertise to monitor API performance through tools like Postman, Swagger, and Fiddler, validate backend logic via SQL and NoSQL databases, and enhance system visibility through observability platforms such as Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and CloudTrail. You will ensure seamless integration of QA processes into our CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, n8n or other AI Tools.
You won't just rely on traditional testing methods; you'll pioneer AI-driven enhancements. You’ll actively evaluate, select, and implement AI-powered QA tools to significantly boost our testing productivity and effectiveness.
Qualifications You Bring
- 3+ years of proven experience in backend and API testing.
- Strong expertise with API testing (Postman, Swagger, Fiddler).
- Hands-on experience managing test cases and defects using tools like TestRail, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Proficiency in utilizing observability tools (Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, CloudTrail).
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Advanced skills in SQL and NoSQL database querying.
- Deep understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and RESTful APIs.
- Solid experience in Agile development environments.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience evaluating or integrating AI-driven QA technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java (mandatory)).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, Locust).
- Previous experience in fintech, payment processing, or related compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS).
