We want to make B2B payments as simple as P2P payment apps. Most business payments in Africa are made offline….yikes. We are on a mission to transform this. This is a unique opportunity. You'll have the responsibility and resources to take a significant part in the creation of a paradigm-changing product that will impact millions.
Responsibilities:
- Learning the codebase and improving your coding skills.
- Writing and maintaining code.
- Working on minor bug fixes.
- Monitoring the technical performance of internal systems as well as external facing API’s.
- Responding to requests from the development, customer support, and external api teams.
- Gathering information from consumers about program functionality.
- Writing reports.
- Conducting development tests.
Technical & Professional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or any related course.
- Knowledge of basic coding languages including React, Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Basic programming experience (minimum of 1 year).
- Knowledge of databases and operating systems.
- Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented.
