Ensure compliance with Nigerian and international payments laws, licensing, and regulations. Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, maintain corporate records, manage legal risks and disputes, liaise with regulators and external counsel, protect intellectual property, oversee data privacy compliance, and support legal frameworks for expansion into new markets.

Own the strategy, roadmap, delivery, monetization, analytics, and growth of Duplo’s Financial Operations Dashboard. Lead invoicing, payments, expense management, billing, direct debit, and cross-border transfer products across African markets. Partner with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver regulated B2B fintech solutions, improve activation and retention, and drive revenue growth.

Own strategy and roadmap for Duplo Dashboard (spend management, billing, compartmentalisation, TMS, e-invoicing). Lead end-to-end monetisation delivery, run customer discovery across African markets, define success metrics, plan migrations, write BRDs/PRDs, and collaborate with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Finance and GTM to drive adoption and revenue.

Lead design and implementation of reliability, scalability, and resilience for backend systems. Own observability, incident response, SLOs/SLIs, capacity planning, and cost-efficiency. Mentor engineers, define infrastructure and deployment standards, and ensure operational safety and compliance for high-stakes fintech money-movement systems.
