- You will report to Program Manager of the function and will work from our Electronics City, Bengaluru Office in Hybrid work model.
Your Responsibilities:
API Development:
- Develop scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs using frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.
- Debug and handle errors in API operations to ensure seamless performance.
Database Management:
- Write and optimize SQL queries for high-performance data retrieval and manipulation.
- Maintain database integrity and ensure data security.
Containerization & Deployment:
- Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker.
- Manage and orchestrate containers in a production environment using Kubernetes.
Code Quality & Best Practices:
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best coding practices.
- Implement coding standards, design patterns, and maintain code modularity.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Collaboration:
- Work with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Participate in agile workflows, sprints, and design discussions.
Performance Optimization:
- Ensure scalability, and reliability of backend services.
- Monitor and improve system performance through profiling and tuning.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Backend Engineering or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Experience with Flask or FastAPI framework
- Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience in building, debugging, and maintaining APIs.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and REST principles.
