Summary: You will be working as part of a team for to better support for malware search tooling for research. We are looking for someone who is strong with Python development and some UI development with JavaScript. This is a remote role in the US, Argentina, Mexico or Costa Rica and Colombia. Must work the EST time zone.
Responsibilities
- Tool Development: Design and develop tools and applications to support tooling functions, including monitoring, alerting, reporting, and automation.
- Integration: Integrate various systems and platforms to ensure seamless operations and data flow within the tooling system.
- Automation: Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Monitoring and Alerting: Develop and enhance monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of IT infrastructure and applications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with analysts, system administrators, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of tools, scripts, and processes.
- Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for developed tools, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 -5 years of experience in software development, scripting, and automation with Python 2 or 3 and JavaScript.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Experience with various testing frameworks: NodeJs, GIT, Various Databases (Splunk) / Datasources
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new skills quickly.
