We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer (L3/L4) to join our Platform Team and help evolve the core architecture of IP Fabric’s product. You will work hands‑on in the codebase, drive architectural improvements, and enable other engineering teams through a stronger, more scalable platform.
This is a high‑impact IC role requiring strong backend engineering skills, architectural thinking, and the ability to collaborate closely with Product and other engineers.
- Design, refactor, and evolve core platform components
- Drive architectural improvements to reduce technical debt and improve scalability and stability
- Own platform initiatives from problem definition to delivery
- Improve build, deployment, and operational workflows
- Collaborate closely with Product to translate business goals into technical roadmap items
- Mentor and support other engineers through technical leadership and clear communication
- Strong backend engineering experience with TypeScript / Node.js
- Experience working with PostgreSQL and Redis
- Proven experience refactoring and maintaining existing production systems
- Experience with on‑prem and cloud deployments
- Ability to work independently and identify what needs to be done
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Valid VISA to work in Czechia / EU
- Experience in platform or enablement teams
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipeline and deployment experience
- Interest in developer experience and internal tooling
- Node.js, TypeScript, Express.js, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Redis, Socket.io
- GitLab CI, Monorepo with Nx, esbuild.
