Backend Developer, Payment Team

• Work in fast-growing company (growth of user base during 2023 more than 10X times)

• Fast time to market (usually one release per week)

• Test coverage for codebase 87%

• Cloud infrastructure in AWS

• Production monitoring and alert systems

• Code review process

• Performance tests

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop new backend features for payment library

• Work in dedicated payment team consisting of backend and client developers

• Collaborate on the workout recommendation system and health data management

• Utilize cloud technologies, particularly AWS

• Perform code reviews

We expect that you have

• 4+ years of professional work experience in software engineering with Python

• Working experience in working with popular Python frameworks (Django, FastAPI)

• Working experience with PostgreSQL (or other RDBMS)

• Experience with a message broker like RabbitMQ

• Experience with CI/CD, Monitoring

• Ownership of projects from concept to release

• Experience with payment libraries and services

• Fluent English level

Beneficial skills

• Understanding of cloud technologies, proficiency in AWS

• Preferably, a degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Highly interested in a fast-paced software development environment

• Enthusiasm for learning and continuous improvement
