Job Description
As a Back of House Lead at Mark’s, your positive attitude will help customers and employees of the store. You will ensure all inbound and outbound inventory is tracked correctly and that the product is priced, replenished and neatly organized in the backroom and on the sales floor. You will oversee the execution of processing inbound/outbound inventory, replenishment, and inventory accuracy. Be an expert of operations, accuracy, process and efficiency for merchandise movement.
Key Responsibilities
• Scan all incoming shipments and transfers, maintain shipping logs, and file all paperwork according to audit requirements
• Support the management team by providing leadership to part-time team members in the execution of tasks and store standards
• Support in-store eCommerce order fulfillment through processing of orders and executing courier transactions as per company policies
• Complete transfers, consolidations and debits while maintaining inventory integrity and stockroom organization
• Support on general store maintenance and presentation including inventory replenishment, maintenance of store fixtures and floor layouts, seasonal changeovers, restocking and pricing/ signing changes
Required Skills and Knowledge
• 2+ years of previous retail experience
• Previous experience training and mentoring employees
• Proven ability to build and manage a daily plan for the department and store
• Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy containers (up to 50lbs)
• Computer literacy is an asset
Educational Level
• High school education or current enrollment in high school
