As a .NET Software Engineer II, you will be responsible to design, build and maintain scalable API applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle. You will work on coding, documenting, debugging, and testing throughout the application development process.
In this role, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of software development principles and be able to apply them to create high-quality software. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that our software meets the needs of our users and is delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications- 3 to 7 years of experience developing with C# and .NET Core/6+
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related STEM fields, or equivalent experience.
- Strong expertise in building RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API
- Deep understanding of API performance optimization techniques and tools
- Proficient with performance monitoring and diagnostic tools in the .NET ecosystem
- Experience with ORM frameworks (Entity Framework Core) and optimization techniques
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and query optimization
- Experience with caching solutions (Redis, in-memory caching)
- Familiarity with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus)
- Proficiency in API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI)
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, K6)
- Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Unit testing, preferably with xUnit/nUnit
